SOTD SAT 9 June to 16 June

Gillette FT Rocket
Astra SP
TOBS Avocado
EJ Badger
Witch Hazel
Clarins Moisturiser

BBS results, but minor irritation on the lower neck.

Tuesday's child is fair of face.... A nice shave seems appropriate for today.
Razor: Morley and Son, Clover Brand. Germany.
Brush: No6 Horse from Turkey
Soap: Bigelow Shave Cream(Proraso)
Alum
Preshave: Noxzema plus
AS: Alcolado Glacial
Balm: Barbasol Pacific Rush.
Clean shave. Razor did well, balance a little off for me. Shave Cream lacking slide and cushion. Over all a nice shave.[attachment=4960]

Cowshed Bullocks cream (brushless)
EJDE89L with Merkur Super (2)
RSC balm

Rather rushed this AM so dispensed with the lathering since I was given this cream as a gift. Did the job, I wouldn't buy it. It's obviously designed with cartridge shavers in mind. I don't find the Merkur blade and the EJ a good match either.

This morning:

Prep: Face wash, Imperial Leather bath soap, cold
Razor: Feather Artist Club RG (wood), Pro blade (9)
Brush: Neep #1145 onyx chess pawn 26mm extra silvertip
Soap: D R Harris almond
Aftershave: Prof Blighty's Green Ginger
Scent: Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet

Yes. Yes indeed.

On Friday it's England vs sweden:s

If we play like yesterday there'll be no problem at all ... for England ;)

I don't know, the way we played France, it could be a interesting game, I suspect that both teams are hanging it out for the bigger games,
So don't count ourselves out just yet:icon_cheesygrin:

TUESDAY EVENING

Gillette OC New
Rapira (3)
New Forest Super
Palmolive stick
Witch hazel
Bulldog AS balm

One of the best shaving razors I own, which is why I have 5!

So easy to find the right angle and gives a really close shave with no irritation.

The Rapira blade is OK too, though 3 shaves is its limit for me.

Aqueous cream
Proraso shaving soap
Fatboy on 4, 6 with Super Blue / 6, 4 with Sputnik
M and S Harvard a/s balm

Average. The Super Blue seemed to take no hair off on the first pass so one (very thorough shave) is the limit. The Proraso's lather was a little flat too, although don't know if the aqueous cream affected it. The Sputnik performed well except under the jaw.

Tuesday:
Vitos pre-shave
Professor Blighty's Harlequin soap
Semogue SOC Boar
Gillette Long Comb New/Weber Bulldog
Astra SP (4)
Pinaud Clubman

Fantastic BBS shave.

Wednesday:
Palmolive cream
Omega Silvertip
Gillette Slim Adjustable @6 WTG, XTG and @8 ATG
Gillette 7 o'clock SharpEdge (1)
Barbershp Bay Rum
TOBS St. James EDC

Again, fantastic BBS shave.

Hot Shower
Gillette FT Rocket + Astra SP (#2)
Ingrams
EJ Badger
Witch Hazel
Terre D'Hermes EDT

Very nice shave, followed by my favourite EDT.

Dove soap/hot face cloth prep
C.V Heljestrand 29 (The Mini)
taylor's sandlewood shaving cream
Geo.F.Trumper Skin Food to finish

It's got me, a weeper, Blood , surprise, surprise, it's a straight razor! :dodgy:

BSS WTG
The sun's out........ but for how long?

Hot shower and shower gel to wash face for prep
Palmolive stick face lathered with Wilkinson Sword boar brush, added water to the brush at least four times to get a very wet but slick lather
Gillette superspeed Red
SuperMax Blue Diamond (3)

Good close shave with no irritation. Not BBS but plenty good enough for work. The Blue Diamond really seems to like a wet lather, and I reckon I can get one more shave out of it without too much trouble. I'm really getting to like these blades, and that's not considering their price.
