After spending a few hours with this razor smoothing out a few grinding marks / touch up stone and stropping with/ with out paste,

I heard a sound on the strop that made me smile,the prickling of a straight razor on a strop, super sharp hollow ground blade that's begging to be used...:heart:( well you know what I mean)

Not the closest ATG but the shave was very comfy.

For a razor that's 80 ish years old and never been used ,and left in a shed to rot, it's nice to feel this razor come alive.

Anyone who has a chance to grab some of this old soap should do so. Very good cushion and slip, with a faint soapy fragrance that is kinda pleasant. Better than average post shave skin care.

Great shave. Haven't used the TOBS soap for a while, the SOC boar really lathers it well. SOC brush getting better and better as it breaks in.

Balance! For a smaller razor the Dwarf is excellent to handle. Nice to hone, strop, and shave with. Just a quality product![attachment=4954]
