Good deal,

Glad that worked out well for you. I'd guess it's only gonna get better from here on out.

Tuesday:

Zuri 1950s soap
Ever Ready Streamline
GEM SE (3)
Professor Blighty's Green Ginger AS

Outstanding shave. The streamline is quite a different beast to the 1912 that I've been using for the previous couple of days, I find it much more aggressive...just the way I like it! BBS results, plus it looks like a really nice day. Have a good one gents.

One Planet moisturiser
Professor Blighty's Grapewood shaving soap
Aristocrat 16 with Bleue Extra NOS (1st shave)
Bulldog a/s balm

BBS everywhere except a few small patches on lower neck

Tuesday

Prep: Shower
Soap: Proraso Cream
Brush: Edwin Jagger Best Badger
Razor: Merkur 37c Slant
Blade: Super-Max Super Platinum (1)
Post shave: Real Shaving Co Moisturiser

First time shaving with this blade which has had good reviews on here. Am impressed a 2 pass, WTG & XTG, very smooth with no irritation.

Cheers,
Geoff

Tuesday shave:

5pessp.jpg

Pre Art of Shaving Unscented Oil + Penhaligons Endymion sample + Simpson Duke3 Best + Rotbart 15 with Croma #4 + Myrsol Metilsol sample with Aubrey City Rythms balm sample

Not bad shave considering that Croma blade was almost "finished". I still think that this Rotbart razor is one of the best closed comb designs in the market.

Cheers!

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage beehive butterscotch Made Rite badger
'Webly'/Feather
IK SS
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic
Aramis 'Havana' EdT (vintage juice)

BBS results,

Martin

EJDE89L with Bic (2)
EJ Pure Badger
Ingram
RSC balm
Creed Aventus

Very nice BBS. Left the lather on for a couple of minutes (whilst the mirror cleared) instead of getting straight on with the shave. I think it made a difference to the comfort of the shave. Delightful late spring morning.

Gillette Slim Twist
Personna Lab Blue (3)
Real Shaving Company cream
Kent BK2
Trumper's Coral Skin Food

I'm liking the Personna more now that it's worn in a bit. But time for something new tomorrow.

Tuesday... Interesting shave... Used a tube of cream that I had used about a yr ago but didn't really remember:
Soap: Barbus shave cream from Slovakia. 1st it's Green. 2nd lather is so so; slide is lacking; 3rd first hint of fragrance ... Kind of like a men's room in august. Not sure it's a keeper! Sure! It's not!
Razor: Morley & Son Clover Brand Germany . 1st shave with it. Not bad. Need to try it with a different soap.
Brush: Grosvenor. boar and badger
Alum
AS: Clubman
Balm: Nivea Protective lotion
Have to do it again tomorrow!
