Hot Shower
Clinique Face wash
EJ89
Superthin#1
NF2211
T and H almond cream
Alum
BS Maca Root ASB

My first shave with the superthins and a really smooth shave, usually shave every other day but had 3 days growth and hardly knew i had a blade in my razor.
Looks like i will be buying some more.

Wednesday

Terrible shave today
Gillette scrub
Gillette Mach 3
NF 2212
MB tahetain vanilla
Thayer
Diesil only the brave EdT

First time I've not been able to create any lasting lather, result was a patchy painful shave with plenty of blood spots.

Wednesday

  • Bic Sensitive
    Gillette Gel
    Envy EDT
    [/list:u]

    Tuesday
    • DE 89
      Astra Platinum
      Taylors Cream
      WS Boar
      OS Whitewater[/list:u]

Tried a couple of in shower shaves, neither good. The 1st left me feeling a bit raw, so I thought I'd contrast it with how I used to shave. Conclusion I think shower shaving isn't for me as the result of the gel/bic was not much worse than the Jagger/cream.

Drop the pre-shave scrub. That, in my opinion, is asking for trouble.

Ian

Agreed,

In my opinion even though scrubs "prepare" the skin for shaving, they also rub your face raw leaving it already a bit more sensitive than it should be. Just a standard face wash usually does the trick for me.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

1964 Macys silvertip
1958 Executive/Iridium
The Soap Opera Himalaya SS
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic
vintage Dior 'Eau Savage' EdT
