Result: Very smooth all over with the exception of the jawline towards the chin. Very sore over the shaving rash towards the base of the neck, but I'd expect this will (hopefully) subside after time on account of the fact that the Mach 3 is in the bin. Definitely a convert to the DE, and will certainly be following up with the straight in time.

Well done! Sounds like a pretty good first shave experience with a DE, I hope things continue in this vein. :p

A lot lot better finish today :D think i was being a bit careful yesterday hence the finish and no nicks.

A few nicks around my chin cleft but nothing major, however that balm packs one hell of a kick :shock: . I've never felt a sting like it before.

Decent turn from the much maligned Parker range. Three pass and BBS with no nicks or irritation.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage Marshall Fields silvertip
1958 Executive/Personna twin blades
TGQ Bay Rum/Sweet Orange oil SS
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic
St Johns Bay Rum cologne

First time trying these vintage twin blades by Personna, and they are a pleasant surprise. Nice and sharp and no pulling, with a little different feel to em than a normal DE blade. These kinda remind me of using an injector as far as the blade feeling a bit on the stiff side, which is fine with me.

I'm glad to have tried these out and will use em as a nice change of pace blade.
