This blade has had about 3 or 4 shaves and it's lost its super-keen edge but still gave me a very good shave (I did do about 5 passes though!)

The Duke led his men in to battle with a pincer movement totally destroying the bristle forces at will, just in case there were any other enemy bristles forces left he moved over the battle field once more, just to finish off those left hanging on after the first attack. He seem very pleased with his troops including the back up team, but he knows there will be more battles in the near future so he must keep himself and his men sharp and ready for action.

Razors: C V Heljestrand no 8 + Mk 30
Cream/AS: Proraso
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Uberclean, again
Honed them up yesterday and today they delivered a fantastic and the best shave in a long while. Wow, it feels a little bad though, since I only honed on a hunch - Choseras 600, 1000 (another stone), 2000, 5000 and 10k + CBN on a felt paddle. I'm no pro and have no clue why it worked so well (ignorance's a bliss), but I'm one happy and smooth camper
... and, of course:

MdC is actually amazing. Maybe not worth the full price, but it IS good.

Vulfix Persian Musk shaving cream + Vie&Long 16910 "two bands edition" + Gillette canadian Fat Tech with Iridium Super + Aubrey City Rythms balm sample
First time I test this Vulfix and the scent surprised me... I thought it will be a musk spiced cream but I found it very similar to T&H 1805 instead: citric & floral... what strange, anyone has this cream and could confirm this? Anyway it performs as well as T&H creams, I had a really good shave!

Have a new favorite open razor! Off eBay, came in the post yesterday, honed, used this morning! : Razor: Round tipped Kropp. Great razor! Preshave: Noxzema plus; Brush: Omega 48; Soap: Nanny's spearmint and cedar( what a surprise nice shaving but WOW with the wash up - fantastic menthol rush!! WOW!). AS: Masters Bay Rum; Balm: Nivea Protective Lotion. Great shave, really nice Razor!
