Excellent shave. The soap was super slick.The blade was smooth. Finishing off with the low-cost Proraso balm and first use of my Christmas present, Wood Spice AS from M & S . A really nice winter scent. Tremendous. Have a great day everyone!

No great plans for today, so portioned up the Rooster leftovers for freezing and all done by 9. As SWMBO was going to watch Guys & Dolls ( again ), I decided to have a leisurely Shave and it really was ,and as a result I was rewarded with a superb close all round finish.

42C on Christmas Day was just a warm up; it hit 44C today on Boxing Day :oops:.
Hence, menthol was high on the agenda. And what a superb shave - the vintage Schick blade was so sharp and smooth in the Blackbird - a gentle touch and I was DFS after 2 passes, and BBS after the third.

Another nice chilled shave this morning, smooth finish courtesy of the MM. Firefighter definitely one of my new favourites.

Now back to chowing down on a ridiculous amount of leftovers, I clearly can't gauge quantities.

Boxing day. So named because people generally get hammered. Have a fight. And end up in the box sometime in the New Year.

And a great day to have a most smashing shave. I prefer a Feather Professional for an outright finish but the Proguard certainly does smooth in a very smooth way.
