it took me around an hour to figure it out lol.
Anyway the second use of the wonderful Alpha Bandit.
for me it’s faultless.
Again i went with the polished Titanium handle but this time i changed the SB to one without lather holes, Again i paired it with the Nacet and i loved it.
Although this shave was a 10/10 i still preferred the plate with the lather channels although it’s pretty much of a muchness.
Next shave will be the titanium handle with the OC plate which i’m really looking forward to.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Mandarin & Lemongrass Extract Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears with Mint Extracts Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Lider Turkish Boar.
Face Lather.
Lather: Derby Shave Stick.
Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum 'Snapped in 1/2'. (D2)
Razor: Yaqi Katana.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. / Gummy Traditional Turkish tobacco Cologne. /Arko Fresh ASB.

Early Morning Shave,

A pleasurable shave to finish my shaving week off in style...Another great shave where everything worked together superbly.

I've enjoyed my reacquaintance with the Yaqi Katana.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick-ups shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Arko Fresh ASB.

My face is feeling smooth cool & smelling divine. ;)

A very enjoyable shave this morning.
I used an 8 shave GEM, removed the sharp corners as they can overhang a tiny bit which can scratch you if you are not careful, 2 Loom bands on the blade which was lifted using an old GEM spine to replicate the wedge blade angle. Today the razor was fitted with a 1914 handle
A wonderful face lather giving plenty of protection and away i went.
Using no pressure at all i completed a WTG pass, the razor feeling smooth and comfortable, after a rinse off i decided on a targeted multi-direction pick up pass leaving me with a comfortable DFS+ finish.
No indication from the splash setting me up for the day ahead.

After yesterdays shave disaster I put the new Schick blade into the Yaqi for a milder ride hoping it had calmed down a bit. It did by about 2%. The blade was junked after half a pass and a Kai Pink was added, it was night and day for my skin.

I will try another Schick blade tomorrow, it was either a dodgy blade or they are just not for me.

After changing blades it was an excellent shave.

Bond I am not but what a cracking shave, right from the brush through to the finish. Love the slim and the smell from the eucris is excellent. If I ever finally narrow down my software this would most definitely be a staple!

Fantastically smooth and irritation free finish, happy days!
