Prep: Shower, Palmolive Olive Oil Soap
Soap: TFS Professional
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Sagrada Familia Tuxedo
Razor: "Blank" Ever Ready 1912
Blade: Gem Personna
Post: Witch Hazel, Baxter's Balm

After a week of living off-grid in the wild (OK, a log cabin on a site in Mid-Wales which is pretty much the same thing ;)) and accumulating a week's worth of beard, it seemed the perfect time to roll out one of the Ever Readys. This one has been neglected at the the expense of my British razor, so today was its time to shine.
As this shave was actually last night, and it was straight to sleep afterwards I kept scent to the bare minimum. The razor? It truly shone with something decent to go after. Brilliant finish in two passes and not one hint of a nick or irritation. Definitely worth abstaining for a period and then unleashing it. The whole feel felt better than the UK Ever Ready to be honest.

Tuff Red A/S Lotion

Shaves with Vintage SEs seem to require more care and attention than Shaves with an AC/SE.In fact the 1912 is rather harsh compared to The Claymore Evolution used yesterday, so it was satisfying to have a mishap free Shave with a rather nice close all round finish.

Razor: Gillette Aristocrat
Blade: Gillette 7 O'clock Black (2)
Brush: Yaqi Bali Silvertip
Soap: Stirling Barbershop

2.5 days growth to take down as I couldn't face another shave in that caravan. The Aristocrat did me proud. It pips the 87R in the smoothness stakes and it feels better in the hand. The 87R is no slouch mind.

Sadly the Barbershop gave me a bit of irritation which it hasn't done previously.

My naked reflection in the neck of the Aristocrat is my gift to you all ;)

It's ok if you zoom in. You're not made of wood.

Razor: Razorock Hawk V3A
Blade: Schick Proline P-30, 11th use
Brush: Knothead Brush Works 26mm AP Shave Co. Synbad
Bowl: Captains Choice Copper Lather Bowl Standard Bowl
Soap: Tabac Original Puck

A lovely smooth shave despite being on the 11th use the Hawk never disappoints me. The Tabac as always performs and smells great, I love it, I know some don’t but I think it’s a knockout scent.
