Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Sea Salt & Fennel Extract 2 in1 Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Chantry Lavender Goat's Milk Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 48 Pro.
Face Lather.
Lather: Kent Luxury Shaving Soap.
Blade: Feather Hi Stainless. (D3)
Razor: Merkur 34C.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./P&G Old Spice Whitewater ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Early morning shave.

The Feather Hi Stainless on it's 3rd outing still felt smooth but slightly less efficient than it did in my previous shave...However, this could have been my razor choice. Anyway, the shave was still acceptable with no blood loss or irritation to my ugly mug.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine. ;)

A nice enough soap with a sweet scent and a satisfactory creamy slick lather...
Today's shave with this razor was very nice and enjoyable. The edge refreshed on pasted balsa and kanayama strop feels super smooth & keen. Did the kanayama improve the smoothness...mmm? Very interesting...2.5passes for a dfs/ccs result and 2 micro red spots. The aftershaves were terrific.

I have had a busy few days, with looking after my granddaughters, visiting parents travelling to my hometown watch the footy and going out for meals, then a busy work day followed by my first over 50's session with PTs at the gym, it has been non-stop.

I can report though, that true to my word, I've been trying out the Signature soaps I received last Friday and they are all superb performers, great cushioning and pretty slick; each facilitating a great shave each time. I did think the Valentia would be the favourite scent, but happy to say that despite this being great, the Leodis just pips it for me. This only means one thing though, I will need to get the matching splash for it. I like them all, so they will be getting at least one more rotation through before other soaps come back into play.

Tried my best to match up some splashes and EDT for the soaps that I didn't have the splash for.

For consistency, I used my Tech set #27 with a Nacet blade and on day 4, I'm still pretty much BBS 4 hours or so later and thanks to the soaps, my face feels well conditioned. nice and smooth. Shall be using a different razor tomorrow though.
