Pre - hot shower with Signature Soaps Dragons blood body soap.
Brush - Yaqi 24mm Viper Boar
Razor - Muhle Rocca R94
Blade - Wizamet SI (5)
Soap - MWF mixed with Tabac and a few drops of Eucalyptus oil.
Post - cold water rinse, Thayer's WH and La Roche-Posay Cicaplast B5 balm.
AS - Signature Soaps Novus Spice.
A truly stunning shave, everything went top notch, I now know why I ditched the carts last year.

Soap: A&E Barbiere Classico
Razor: CG Gen 1 Level 2
Blade: Wizamet (1)

Another kind loaner today in the form of the CG Gen 1 level 2 plate. I've been on the hunt for a while now with no joy, so this was a great opportunity to see whether the hunt should continue...bugger...it seems it should!
Not quite as efficient as the level 3 but more than proficient, however there is considerably less blade feel making this a likely candidate as a daily driver. I'll give it another few goes over the coming days just to be sure.
My conclusion still stands in that I don't necessarily need it as I rarely use the same razor day after day, so I may not go nuts trying to find it but it still remains on the want list at the moment.
Smooth, smelling good and ready for the day ahead. Hope everyone has a grand day.

Next up Rotbart Mond Extra Open comb. A finely made relatively rare razor with some nice design touches like the engraving on the handle. Mine has clearly been well used in its life as brass is very much on show in the head. Also has a fine crack in the handle but none of this matters a jot! It’s a very comfortable, easy to use razor and even with todays well used Gillette Silver Blue blade produced a dfs finish in 2 passes but needed quite a bit of pick up work.
Proraso still a favourite soap, I like the smell and it’s creamy lather. The brush is old in years but not in years of use. Came to me unused and has shed a few bristles but is breaking in nicely.
