Nice and smooth in most places, struggle to get totally smooth on my chin. Nicked myself right at the end of the shave when I was doing a bit of tidying up.

Cream: Body Shop Macca Root
Aftershave: Nivea Sensitive Balm

I bowl lathered today with the huge cheap Turkish brush and whipped up enough lather in my cappuccino cup to paint the bathroom ceiling. I invariably face lather using hard soap but bowl lathering is amusing with this brush. I washed away more lather than I used!

A close fun shave....I am easily amused!

Pre Veleiro soap + Jabonman Lavanda + Semogue 1335 + Rotbart 15.5 with Gillette Thin + Ach Brito Lavanda cologne with 444 balm

Today I have used another spanish artisan soap. For me is better than the other ones, it smells wonderfully (like Art of Shaving Lavender or Welleda cream) and makes good foam withouth problem, although this one is a bit worse than the other ones with more essential oils in slickness and hidrating. A shame that this Semogue has the handle cracked (like most of Semogue painted wood handle brushes) because the hair is very good for being a small boar: firm with good backbone but with soft tips. Another shame that Ach Brito cologne has a so soft scent as well, it doesn't last much...

Yay - Chin worked better with this big blade too tonight. Pity I managed to just nick my hand whilst manouvering. I don't seem to cut my face much shaving with the straights, just everywhere else!
