SOTD sat 28 july through to fri 3 august...

In between the women's and men's time trials:

Prep: Face wash, Imperial Leather bath soap, cold
Razor: Dovo 5/8"
Brush: Neep #1145 onyx chess pawn 26mm extra silvertip
Soap: D R Harris almond
Aftershave: Prof Blighty's Red Ginger

A very decent shave with my new toy. Do love this brush, and these soaps :). Again, no water was heated in the interests of this shave.

Thursday 2nd August 2012
Prep: Shower
Razor: Gillette Fatboy
Blade: Bic
Brush: Omega Boar 10810
Cream: T.O.B.S. Sandlewood
Aftershave: Nivea Sensitive Balm

Back to a DE Razor today and my first use of a BIC blade, very smooth indeed, I am very impressed. First pass on five two more on three, I found the BIC blade very 'forgiving and kind' to shave with, it seemed to suit my skin really well, a blade we don't hear that much about.

The Omega 10810 is a scrubby little brush and ramrod stiff, it will not seem to soften, perhaps I am expecting too much, it is after all a £5 brush!

Regards
Dick.
