SOTD SAT 23 June to 29 June ...

Tuesday... Still on the geography kick today. This time a razor from the Portland Ore. Cutl.Co. Why - my oldest daughter lives there. A nice reminder when I use this one!
Razor: Diamond Steel. Germany
Brush: Badger
Pershave: Noxzema plus
Soap: Godrej Lime Shave Cream
(like their blue hard soap better)
Alum
AS: Dickinson's
Balm: Nivea
Replenishing[attachment=5016]
Nice shave, enjoyed the razor. Shaving Cream??? Their hard soap is a winner.

the Slim has been a revelation. Closest and most comfortable shaves I've ever had as long as I stick to 2xWTG & XTG.

Still comparing LEA sticks:

34yent0.jpg

"Old" LEA stick + New Forest 2213 + UFO U2 "Long" with Muhle R41 2010 and Gillette Platinum #4 + LEA balm with Aqua Velva lotion

Many years have passed since I tried last time this stick. I haden't good memories about it, but today I was surprised: it is more "foamy" than modern lanolized stick and you can shave without much problem if you uses good razor and blades like today. It doesn't have remarkable propiertes anyway, but I must continue comparing both sticks to get strong conclusions.

Cheers!

I like the look of that brush/razor stand combo. Is it available to buy somewhere? I've been looking for something along those lines; it would be smarter looking than blue tacking my brush to the roof of my cabinet.

Hi, mate!

Yes, you can buy it easily because is a Semogue stand, so you can find in portuguese products webshops like ThePortugalOnlineShop or VintageScent

Cheers!

More LEA shaves:

2agrww2.jpg

LEA "lanolized" stick + New Forest 2213 + Merkur 37c Slant with Polsilver Super #1 + italian Floid Blue with Proraso balm

A superb shave! I spent a little more time getting foam from this stick and it worked even better than last day. Smoooth shave with little irritation!

By the way, this floid "atomizer" is a really good idea! it spreads the lotion much better and you get a more powerful scent and freshness, hehe

Cheers!

This morning:

Prep: Face wash, Imperial Leather bath soap, cold
Razor: Feather Artist Club RG (wood), Pro blade (8)
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 in best
Soap: Pre de Provence
Aftershave: Prof Blighty's Yellow Ginger
Scent: Trumper's GFT

Splendid.

It really doesn't get any better! Went and did it again ... Yes, another Gillette 1904 razor this time another 1918 E US Army. my favorite year and razor[attachment=5018]
Razor: Gillette '04 E
Blade: Polsilver. Great too
Brush: Badger
Preshave: Noxzema plus
Soap: Dittol Shave Cream. Nice too
Alum
AS: Dickinson's
Balm: Nivea
Coffee
If I had only one combo this would be it. 2 passes. 1x WTG ; 1x ATG and it's a real BBS . '04 you can't improve on perfection. Wow![attachment=5019]
