A nice razor for me, I think I've got a new monkey on my back.....just when you think your out...... these vintage razors pull you back in again :dodgy:
I know most people don't like these gem razors and that's fine with me.....It just makes my job on ebay a breeze :icon_twisted:

Firstly the bad. I have had two days of shocking shaves. Sunday night was with the Super Slim Twist which just doesn't suit me at all, so a lot of cuts and last night I think the Rapira was blunt so another terrible shave with the above combo which left me with really bad irritation (the worst I have had since the bad old days of cartridge shaving).

So tonight I thought I would be really careful and use lots of shave care products.

Finally the positives. I've filled my Woodhead suribachi with various odds and sods of soap I have left. Tonight it contained a mix of goats milk soap, MWF and a coconut soap I got from Dodgy. My god does this thing generate lather! It's unbelievable! Not sure I'd use it with a really nice badger as the interior is a bit rough, but it works brilliantly with hard soap and a boar brush.

And all the pampering worked and I got a really good shave. My face is still a bit tender from the last couple of days but if I carry on in this vein it will soon be situation normal.

Old Spice Whitewater AS used as cologne

Nice using this razor again. Little more bite than a US Aristo, but still well within my comfort range. Very purty thang.
