This is a brilliant shaver, I had tucked into a roll and hadn't shaved wityh it for a while now, but boy what a nice blade it is, easy my best western Japanese razor.

First time trying this blade sent to me by NTS. Very good one......reminds me of some of the better old Wilkinsons.

That's as good as it gets for me with my winter manbeard in all honesty, I just can't get any closer I did try with the head flat on my face but felt a little odd so just tipped the head a little more forward and that just felt natural if that makes sense.

These razors look a little :dodgy: but I think they are one of the best secrets of the vintage razor world.

Noticed some 'Chinese' Super Thins with a slightly different wrapper. Inside was a dodgy blade. After second pass on a higher setting I ditched it for another with the new wrapper which was far better. Close shave with mild irritation.

Does anyone think the Bulldog moisturiser smells like Burt's Bees?

Shaved with the same Tech and Schick that I didn't get much joy from last night through lack of imagination mixed with laziness. Hymn practice this morning at work with Year 7 got me in the mood for a Christmas-themed shave tonight, so out came my frankincense and myrrh soap - my first Nanny's soap! It bowl lathered nicely and the woody, dry, spicy scent has good post-shave longevity. Very positive!

Blade: Super Max Blue Diamond (7)
Brush: Wilko cheapie
Shave cream: Cussons Granite (bought a large box of these on ebay a while back for 99p. I think no-one else bid because the item was mis-spelt as shaveing cream.
A/S: Blue Stratos bought in a poundshop in the centre of Birmingham.

Pretty good shave and I smell of a bargain classic fougère.

Pre Prep + jabón Mike's EL AC 2012 + Omega boar + UFO U2 Long with Merkur head and Schick blade + TOBS Mr Taylor splash with Proraso balm

When you use an agressive head like this Merkur (at least more than a Weber one) is when you thanks for using this protective soap. Really good protection and post-shave por sure!
