Yesterday I got four razors in the post from gentlemen of this parish who've been honing and otherwise adjusting them, and the two I've not shaved with before (in one case, I tried but failed) are today's and tomorrow's day-starters.
This morning:
Prep: Cold rinse Razor: Ford & Medley 7/8 wedge, palm wood Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 in best Soap: Trumper's Eucris Aftershave: Prof Blighty's Green Ginger
This razor was restored and scaled by Prof Blighty (and I'd've christened it with one of his soaps if I were more awake at 6:30), with final honing courtesy of UKRob. My first ever wedge shave, and I LOVED it - smooth, controllable, comfortable, solid-feeling. Wow.

Prep: Shower
Razor: Schick Injector E3
Blade: Personna Stainless Coated
Brush: Omega 10810 Boar
Soap: Arko pressed into a container
Aftershave: Simple Balm
A very good shave but it confirms what I have thought for some time, the E type Schick's whilst being more aggressive are not better shavers than the G types and they are less pleasant to use.
L'Oreal for men facewash.
Muhle R89 razor with Personna red #1.
New Forest Super badger brush.
Crabtree and Evelyn Sandalwood shaving soap.
Professor Blighty's Formula 31 Sandalwood aftershave.
Van Cleef and Arpels Midnight in Paris EDT.
Smooth shave, soothing ASL from the Prof, as always great stuff from Martin.
Gillette Fat Handle Tech
Gillette Super Nacet (1)
Muhle Silvertip Fibre
Cella, face lathered
Simple Rich moisturiser
Penhaligon's Endymion
Lather was a bit foamy - my fault for nearly submerging the brush in the sink when I dropped it. Good brush, by the way - especially for those of us who regularly spend time away from home. There's a bit of scritch to it but it lathers creams, soaps and sticks perfectly well. I have the small 19mm version which a. takes up very little space, b. puts up with a lot of abuse, and c. dries very quickly.
Cold shower
Proraso pre/post
Tabac shaving stick
Muhle synthetic
Flair tip rocket w/Astra
Myrsol Agua de Limon
Floris Santal ASB
Great smooth shave, Tabac delivered an unbeatable lather as usual, Myrsol and Floris seem to be a great combo together, and rocket is a nice little razor, just perhaps a tad too mild for my taste. Need to try the red tip version some time..
Prep: Hot shower, cold water splash
Brush: Omega 10065
Razor: Gillette Super Adjustable set on 3 (courtesy of dodgy)
Blade: Personna Lab Blue (1)
Cream: Body Shop Maca Root face lathered
Post Shave: Alum, witch hazel, Boots Freshwood Balm
Great shave, not BBS everywhere, but damn close, first shave with this razor and I really like it. I'll leave it on 3 for a while, I won't get too brave yet :icon_razz:.
Thanks again to Martin and Graeme for this razor, and some goodies!
Prep: Hot Shower
Soap: Arko
Brush: Simpson Case
Razor: Muhle R41
Blade: Gillette Super Stainless
A/S: La Toja
Just trying out the lathering capabilities of the Simpson Case with Arko, really quite impressive. Not a fan of the smell of the Arko but I got an excellent lather.
