Tuesday:

Penhaligons Blenheim Bouquet soap
Edwin Jagger black badger
Merkur 34C HD
Gillette 7 o'clock green SS (2)
Penhaligons BB EDT

Truly awful soap, waxy, rock hard, useless. Literally akin to a block of hard floor wax, no soapy qualities at all.
Despite all the hard soap tricks it produced a thin, fizzy lather than disappeared within 30 seconds leaving no protection. I'll persevere for a little longer but it might be moving on, shocking stuff.

Despite that I'm clean shaven just about, and injury free.

Tuesday

TOBS Sandalwood soap
Vulfix 660
Merkur Futur @ 3
Isreali blade
Alum
Real Shaving Co. ASB
Pinaud Vanilla aftershave splash

Nice clean shave, although I've just found a patch that isn't as close as the rest. :-(

L'Occitane Bavx soap
Feather AS-D1
Feather Blade
New Forest Tubby 1
Vulfix Persian Musk
Alum + Propolis
L'Occitane Bavx Balm
L'Occitane Cedre L'Atlas

Kinfe, Klotzli Swiss custom knife maker, made a limited run for Spyderco back in the 1990s, the most expensive and sought after Spyderco there is, the Blade is ATS 34, steel the pivot screws and liner lock all made from titanium then blue anodized, the scales are made from the same carbon fibre found on the Sauber Formular 1 car at the time, this knife is part of my collection, it's mint never used sharpened or carried.

Jamie.

The shave was excellent two pass shave really enjoyable, the Cedre L'Atlas is a super scent, it's difficult to find fault with most of L'Occitane products.

Tuesday:

Merkur HD 34c
7 o'clock Green SS
Neep box wood silvertip
Body Shop Maca Root cream

Glad I tried these green 7 o'clocks - definitely one of the most effective blades I've used. 2 passes with the HD today yielded great results.

This morning:

Nivea face wash
Feather Artist Club RG (wood), ProGuard blade (8)
Truefitt & Hill #10 cream
New Forest High Mountain Badger
Bulldog ASB

Beautiful shave. Probably my closest straight shave (if these count) yet :).
