Seems like it's the day for a bad shave.

Tuesday 15th February

Martin de Candre Savon à Raser - Simpson Chubby 1 Best - Gillette Aristocrat #16 - Gillette Bleue (2) - TOBS Eton College AS

Terrible!
Normally get three shaves out of the Bleues and never had a duff one before, but this was dragging all over the place and because I was in a rush I didn't have time to go getting another one out. Irritation on my neck as a result. Just glad I stopped after one pass.

It was the soap James, it's crap. Ollie will take it off your hands and excommunicate it for you.

I have decided that T&H Almond Cream is better (for me at least) than my ToBS, both scent and performancewise. Almond really does set its self up to be topped by Clubman - a marriage made in heaven.

No birthday presents till tonight, so come on postie am waiting for stuff from USA & IoM :)

Nice 35 year old juice. Plenty of pop left to this stuff, and it's different from the later versions. Lots of mellow celery/pine notes.

A very close shave but..............!

I was trying too hard? :?
What started as a touch up here and there turned into striving for perfection. :roll:
The more I touched up the more I found that needed that extra wee bit......
I now have a face covered in micro nicks. Not nicks as such but where the blade has momentarily dug in. Just enough to leave a small red line!

So a very close shave but at a price!!

Must remember. "Learn to walk before you run."
