Cella is one fine almond shaving cream. I now know why it has such a wonderful track record here at TSR. Used with the 2221 today, Cella lathered up so quick and easy. I got a wonderful shave with the Timor blade; first time I used this Solingen product. A bit pricey but always wanted to try one out in a 37C. This blade didn’t let me down. I’ll have to give this brush a few more shaves that is certain but as of this morning, it is the softest brush I've used. Real soft …..

Albeit sometimes to my detriment, I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong. Cade - as most of you have already figured out - is a fine soap. Originally, I didn't think so: the lather it produced, in my hands, was bad. But a year-and-a-half later, I'm willing to admit that my soap-lathering technique was, back then, way below par.

Semogue 1305: Really like everything about this boar, particulary the handle, which in my spade-like hands fits perfectly.

Burberry London: Chav associations to one side, this cherry tobacco-smelling brew is really nice. To my nose, anyway. Love it.

Great to see Naked Ape here again!

I had a superb shave today with my HMB - I'm using a 48 mm loft version. A lather too much as usual, happily massaged in with a few scrubby and circular motions before smoothing over. I like this DR Harris Rose cream, one of their more recent introductions. Jagger Chatsworth/red personna and cheap and cheerful Wilkinson Hydro Balm compted the team.

Hadn't shaved since Saturday night and woke up with a lot of irritation on the neck, it looked like I'd been clawing at my neck, think I'm going to try shaving for the whole 7 days to see if it helps.
