Pleasantly surprised by the Lea. Much better than I can usually get from their soap sticks (or Bea), and the cool of the menthol was nicely the equal of Williams' Menthol shave cream, as I remember it.

Three pass, bowl lathered.

Things and shaves were getting too familiar so it it was time for a challenge. The Lord L5 is adequate, no more, I'll give it another two shaves then decide on it's future. A touch of claret is almost obligatory with this razor.

Took the Iron Duke back to the hones, re-profiled on the 1200, then onto the 6000, then to the 8000, then using my two paddle strops with different grade strop pastes, she shaved very well, no complaints.
