2 days growth on the face, a nice length of beard for the razor to get some bite

Razor: Merkur 34C HD
Blade: Shark (#2 shave with this blade)
Soap: TOBS Sandalwood
Brush: EJ Badger
After: Nivea sensitive balm

Good lather, finally got the hang of lathering with soap - bit more water required than with cream, and lathering directly onto the face rather than using a bowl, seems that in the past my lather has been drying out too quickly...

Shaved WTG, WTG, XTG, XTG - touched up under the nostrils, on the adam's apple and areas on the chin ATG.

Result: Fantastically smooth shave, even on the angles of the chin.

No stubbly bits on the neck around the adam's apple.

... getting the hang of wet shaving, NO NICKS!

Wasn't your fualt, there where an accident on the M25 (was closed all night) that almost stopped all traffic on the M23 :dodgy: We had a great time there!

Didn't shave yesterday so a very nice shave today.

Had to revert back to the Merkur as I found the Ikon does not like the 7OC yellows at all. Had a very rough shave with them which left me with a very sensitive skin.

Funny how some razors and blades don't work well together. You'd think it wouldn't make a difference.

For those who like aggressive razors the Muhle R41 fits the bill perfectley.
I find it a lot more aggressive than the vintage oc's i have.
Second outing with Rods brush and really impressed with it.

Result: Very, very clean :D
Best shaves in London! And Nannys soap excelled in this harsh London water, I don't know if I just got lucky (very possible), the bath or that I actually did something right? It's thicker (than usual for her soaps, I would say), slick and very nice for my skin. Spot on re scent for me as well: strong and spicy lavender. This soap actually worked better for me than MdC in this hard water :D

It's like Autumn up here so an Autumnal shave was had.

Three pass, bowl lathered.

Very nice indeed. It set me up to cope with the rain, low temperature and the wind. Even the leaves are starting to change shade - time for the Barbour I think!

The Wilky brush must be the ultimate soap bowl lathering brush (for me). I kid you not gentlemen.
