Firstly, nice to see you Leon, it's been a while if I'm not mistaken. Your razor interests me, because one engraved with "Le Talisman" came my way recently (I don't consider it mine yet, though). It's a heavy full hollow, and the only other mark is "SALLES A MOISSAC" on the tang. You wouldn't happen to know if they're related would you?
Onwards. Well, I must say that the novelty of having some time on my hands isn't wearing off at all yet, so there may be a series of SOTD pics coming up. I really will get a light box sorted out one day, but just at the moment the snow seems to be diffusing the light quite nicely. A chilly, wintery looking shave today:

My detailed comments on the soap are elsewhere, but the short version is that it's fine, just fine
If Steve puts all the ingredients in next time it'll be even better, but there's nowt wrong with it as it stands. I can see myself relieving him of some of this, and getting a bottle of Taylor No. 74 to go with it.

After a few days with my Mach 3 I noticed a mild feeling of razor burn.
So today I went back to my Jagger Chatsworth/Red Personna combination with Tabac soap and Proraso Balm. Just perfect!
