Monday

This is becoming a worry.

Third day in a row with my Mach 3 and another great shave.
C&E Sienna - I just love the scent - with NF2211.
Proraso balm.

I'm going to give this razor an extended run. Then I'll be interested to see how things go when I switch back to a DE.

If your face can handle it, then the Mach 3 is a good razor, and I suspect the Fusion is similar. I used a Mach 3 for a weeks worth of shaves a while back, and had no issues.

Yes, people bang on about the price of the blades, but seriously, does anybody that takes up DE or straight shaving to save money actually manage it? I strongly doubt it.

When I used a cartridge razor regularly, I just slapped on some goo and shaved it off, razor whizzing round in all directions. One "pass"

These days with my creams, soaps, brushes and systematic three pass routine with my DE I'm in another world. By introducing a Mach 3 into this world, it performs entirely differently - much more effective. That's down to the rest of the routine. I'm not saying I'm now switching back to cartridge razors - but they do have a place in any wet shavers armoury.

Monday morning
Pre: Hot shower
Brush: Chubby 2
Razor: Garantie Solingen
Soap: Nannys Eucalyptus
AS: Mennen SB
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very clean and nice shave :D
This blade dosn´t look like much, but it´s a damn fine shaver and I love the long slender tang that gives a wonderful grip. This brush is lovely, I fear that it spoils me though ... Felling another BAD coming up

Pic´s taken for a x-mas theme, that´s going on over at SRP

Monday:
Hot towel
Ever Ready 12a/Macca Root :)
Superspeed/365 Stainless (4)
Alum
Nivea Replenishing ASB.
The 365 blade coped easily with a 2 day growth despite being the 4th time used.
Very slight tugging in parts but no discomfort.
Now replaced but I'm pleased with these :)
Nice one, and the Nivea feels good.
regards, beejay

I agree 100%. The introduction of proper prep, and using a brush with good soap/cream was the real leap forward in making things better/more interesting for me.
