I'm back; no surprise I cut myself quite a bit - I had shaved y'day morning in Genoa with one of the latest acquisitions, a Braun travel electric... (oh yes)

Hello again shaving fellas, I have been out of the forum because my computer said goodbye. Crossing fingers.:s

Tuesday

Razor: Schick Adjustable
Blade: Schick injector
Brush: Le Tuft Stubby/Chubby
Soap: Cella
Post: Floid Orange

Lovely shave again, I can't believe how great this injector is. I think I'm going to see how long I can keep this routine for. The only variation will be the brush I think!

Tuesday Morning

Hot shower
Proraso pre-shave
TOBS Sandalwood soap & Palmolive cream combo
Gillette 7 o'clock yellow
Making it's début...Merkur 39c
Alum block
Nivea replenising aftershave balm (on offer in Tesco)
Trafalgar aftershave splash

Result: very clean, BBS shave. It was a joy. No wounds from the much feared 39c. I prefer to think of it as efficient rather than aggressive.

Gillette Fat handle Tech
Polsilver blade
Vitos almond soap
Nivea aftershave balm

Comfortable shave today. Haven't used the fh tech for ages; I gave it to my fiancee along with a 1940s open comb ages ago and she preferred the latter. Forgot about the tech till recently so tried it again today. It's not the closest shaver I have but the length of the handle is just right for good control, not too heavy and not too light, and I like the thickness over other techs.

This morning:

Nivea face wash
Feather Artist Club RG (wood), ProGuard blade (2)
Pre de Provence soap
New Forest Tubby 2
Trumper's sandalwood skin food and cologne

Mostly lovely, but not quite a close on the left side of my neck as I've come to expect. Quite liked the soap, though my lather was a little prone to running down the brush handle.
