Razor: Alpha Outlaw Std
Blade: Gillette Blue (2)
Brush: Highlander Lime Chubby Cashmere
Soap: 3P

I love the new Highlander brush. Loadsa lavver!!

I've also enjoyed my time with the Alpha Outlaw standard. I was clearly too quick to dismiss it last time. I've now fitted the mild plate for my next shave to see how that performs.

Karve Christopher Bradley (brass, SB/C) :: Tiger Platinum (2) and Astra SS (1) :: Tabac stick (the new one) :: Yaqi 24mm synthetic brush :: Tabac splash

I love this razor, very smooth with all the blades I tried so far... except today with the Tiger Platinum (2nd use). I don't remember the Tiger being so rough the first time I used it, but it was some time ago. So I rather quickly switched to a new Astra Stainless - my familiar go-to for a mid-sharp smooth blade (except that I hate the wax/glue dots on them).
The Tabac soap performed just fine: easy to lather, good slickness, good post-shave slickness as well (at least in my relatively short wet shaving experience). However I don't have a comparison with the original tallow Tabac.

Thoughts? I was interested in the Orange Flower. The inclusion of clays and muds perked my interest, something we've only really seen from Meissner Tremonia.

They are very underrated Soaps and they've always been a top drawer offering for me. The scents actually last further than the bathroom door and match their EDC's superbly.

Up in the air here over the orange flower, but may be the next time in York. Ah. Next weekend! Bugger.

I do prefer the old style wooden bowls to the new style 'tins' which slightly cheapens their products to me.

Overall though, a soap I will always recommend

Yeah, I thought they came in wooden bowls and saw yours, but thought it a generic or re-used bowl after cross-checking their website. They've a shop in Ilkley. We'll be back over to Ilkley before Christmas so might well bag one or two. The lather is sound, yes?

For me, the lather is more than sound. A Cashmere dream.

Razor: Gillette Tech
Blade: London Bridge , 2nd use
Brush: AP Shave Co. Lemon Drop G5A
Bowl: 3D Printed Bowl
Preshave: PAA Cube Unscented Soap
Soap: A&E Vetimore Shaving Butter Puck
Aftershave: William Hunt Oud De Parfum Aftershave
Balm: Bart’s Balm Sample Balm
Additional Care: Osma Laboratoires Alum Block

A lovely shave after going back to the Tech for a few days before a couple of new arrivals hit the Den! A great Sunday shave, enjoy what’s left of the weekend!

Weekend shaves:

Saturday, first shave back from work days away. As I have been using my travel brush with the War sample pot, thought I'd treat myself and use the C&H brush with Signature Leodis. I used the Lupo razor with the Wizamet blade that I used before going away.

Sunday, after my long run, thought I'd treat Mrs D and smell very nice. Floid black with the droid soap meant I've treated her, been smelling nice since I finished. I used the PAA brush thinking they must know the best thing for whipping up their own soaps!

Both shaves were top drawer. The Lupo.72 with the Wizamet iridium blade is a bloody fantastic pairing. (Then again, so it's a Nacet)

Ready for the new week, I am still completely BBS hours and hours later, may not even need to shave tomorrow morning! Then again, I like shaving nowadays, so maybe I will anyway!

Do you mean the Nivea cream that comes in the blue tub?

I found the Florena shaving cream to have a scent which resembled some kind of synthetic herb or something, I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was, but it was a superb performer.
No....the shaving cream in the tube....not the liquid stuff. I think the Florena and Nivea shaving creams are made by the same company

Thanks for the clarification. I've not used the Nivea shaving cream in the blue tube, it's supposed to be pretty good from what I gather.

Edit.
I think you're right. Nivea blue and white shaving creams contain Dimethacone (or something like that), and so does Florena, so I'd also think it's made in the same factory.

Prep: ESC pre shave oil mixed with Proraso sensitive pre shave cream
Brush: Yaqi 24mm synthetic
Razor: ESC Claymore Evo handle
Blade: Schick Proline
Cream: Nivea Men Sensitive Pro Ultra Calming Liquid Shaving Cream
After: Thayer's Witch Hazel followed by Nivea Men Sensitive Pro Ultra Calming After Shave Balm

I gave the Shick Proline it's first go today...

After a 15 hour shift, and with a hefty headache this morning, I thought I'd sneak in a late night shave to soothe me into bed. In my exhausted state, I failed to notice that two Shick blades had somehow stuck together perfectly. I did check the alignment as usual and didn't notice anything awry; they must have been lined up exactly.

I was surprised at how harsh I found the shave (not a shock really!) but by being very light managed a decently smooth shave with just a little irritation around the neck. Only when I was cleaning up did the blades separate. I guess next time I'll give it a go with a single blade as intended!

Crikey, two blades in a single blade razor!

How did you find the Nivea Shaving Cream?
