I wasn't immediately wowed but I think I need to load more. With the amount I used I would usually have enough for 3 passes with the majority of soaps I use, this was a push at 2. I think I need to give it another few goes before forming a proper opinion. I will say I did like the splash though, it made up for the less than stellar lather and smelled good as a bonus.

I could be wrong but thought i read the splash comes with or without alcohol which is good.

* A member from the other form reached out to me a couple of weeks ago asking if I fancied trying the Start 2 razor. He also included a load of soap samples too.
Unfortunately the day they arrived I came down with COVID. Today is the first time I've had the energy for a shave.
Onto the shave. The Start 2 was excellent, very impressed. Very smooth and efficient. I thought the blade gap might be an issue but it didn't feel as wide as the number suggests.
The soap was great too, liked the scent.

With you there, love the artwork. I'd been tempted to get some of their gear previously, undertow sounded nice (seemingly similar to Aventus) but haven't been able to track it down again. I'm sure I'll give more of them a bash if I get the hang of this.

What can I say...classic soap with a scent I learned to like but the best is the rich creamy and very slick lather...
I would say a satisfactory shave with the razor. The edge is smooth enough in 3passes for a sas result. Nice combo with one of my favorite aftershave...

The Palmolive classic shave stick/ P&G Old Spice ASL duo works so good together. Superb stuff!
An enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.
My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.

Removed three days heavy beard with open comb which felt a bit rough even though the blade relatively fresh, result a smooth face but used the balm to ward off any razor rash.
