Tabac and Tech is a marriage made in heaven, in what was a BBS shave without trying. The Synbad didn’t seem to want to lather the Tabac at first requiring a longer/bigger load, but I’m guessing this is because it’s such a soft and floppy knot, I’ve never had a problem with the brush or the soap before, so I’m putting it down to user error!

Excellent shave, newly acquired EDT from Anticatura to finish off possibly my favourite DG set. GSB was nice and smooth from the off with a near perfect finish, I'll give a feather another try at the next run to see whether the previous one was an outlier.

This is great performing soap, the Musgo, and for people who like unscented soaps it's recommended. Personally I enjoy the scents of soaps and find plain ones a bit ascetic, like a lost opportunity. However I was traded this one and the performance makes up for it so I'll use it all as it works so well.

The blade must be on its last legs by run 4 but it gave a comfortable and close result in 3 passes with a light touch. I do enjoy using this old (but mint) 'Goldfinger' Slim.
You can't go wrong with bio oil and Tabac, everyday comfort.

Wow...super nice soap this @BrianH !! Pleasant refreshing scent with slight cooling. So creamy and super slick lather...perfect for this shave!!
Some of my best shaves are from this razor paired with this blade..wow! 3 silky smooth and efficient passes...the only time with a "straight" that I managed a bbs...The aftershaves were just as good too...
