S.O.T.D w/c Saturday 24th - Friday 30th August 2013, incl.

This morning's shave, a truly great one. I am not sure why, but I find that Ingram's cream is great for my skin. I really love it.

Rubberset resto with TGN Finest knot
Erasmic cream
Schick M
Eversharp blade
Aqua Velva (spiked with 2 menthol crystals)

Have a good morning gentlemen!

Musgo Real glyce classic soap
Merkur Digress / Rapira
Culmak Style Butterscotch 20mm Finest
Haslinger Ewe's Milk Shaving Soap
Myrsol Agua Balsamica
Penhaligons Lavandula

Glad I hung on to the Rapiras after not really getting on with them before, they are working really well for me in the digress :)

My shave this morning:

Palmolive Classic soap stick
Omega 10019 brush
Feather Popular razor
Personna Platinum Chrome blades
Nivea Sensitive aftershave balm

I already look forward to tomorrow ;)

I only kept the razor and blade the same ;)

This morning, I shaved with:

De Vergulde Hand shave stick
Omega Professional 102 brush
Feather Popular razor
Personna Platinum Chrome blades
Pitralon Classic aftershave

The Omega Pro 102 and DVH soap build a crazy lather, really!

Tuesday evening

Prep : Clinique face soap and scruff
Razor : Merkur Progress XL
Blade : Personna Platinum chrome
Brush : Kent BLK12
Croap : RazoRock XXX
Post shave : Clinique post shave soother

Third shave and out for the Personna but I reckon I may well have been able to go to a 4th shave with the blade. Finding the Kent much eeasier to get a decent lather out than the Chubby 2 at the moment. I know people think they are floppy, and I can understand, but it just makes so much lovely lather and unlike the Chubby it seems to want to let you have some of it.

For me, those Personna blades easily last 4 or 5 shaves. To stay on the safe side, I usually change them after 4 shaves. Or, if I lost track, when they start feeling less smooth. (which probably is after 4,5 shaves ;) )

Greetings

Warm shower
Proraso pre, menthol
Omega 11137, MWF
Weber Polished, Personna Lab Blue (1)
Cold splash
Clinique post-shave healer

Frankly, it was a bit of a bloody mess... what with a Weber an' all... maybe I'm losing me mojo.
After cold-splashing and balming, it's comfortable enough (and smooth) but I still look more like the Bride of Chuckie than my usual handsome self.
Could be back to the AS-D2 tomorrow... or maybe a few vintage days.

The good news... the Omega and the MWF were great.
