Brush: Semogue 830
Cream: RSC Shave^2 Cream
Razor: Schick L1
Blade: Personna (2)
Post: Witch Hazel, Steve's Barbershop Bay Rum, RSC Post Shave Soothing Balm

Second shave with the injector, and I'm still thoroughly impressed. I can shave very quickly with this, no fear of cutting myself, and after 2 passes end up with a near BBS finish, except on my problem patch on my neck which I rarely get BBS. When I take a step up to a more 'effective' injector, this may take care of that problem. I can see why people really enjoy using these razors, they're excellent. My lather today wasn't great, didn't use enough product for a good second pass so added a touch more for the second pass. Face lathering with the 830 is good, but I still slightly prefer the 1305.

Anyway, a nice, close and comfortable shave, looking forward to the next!

Hot flannel
Proraso pre, menthol
Simpson's Colonel X2L, T&H 1805 cream
Feather AS-D2, Perma-sharp (3)
Cold splash
Clinique post-shave healer

Interesting to go back to the AS-D2 after a few days using the Progress. The Progress is, without a doubt, my absolute favourite razor... but the Feather did OK (should bloody hope so at three times the price)

I have only a modest collection of brushes and soaps/creams (compared to some)... but having a bit of fun at the moment trying out which are the best combinations.

Rest of the week easy!!!

Proraso Pre and Post
Monsavon
Geo F Trumpers Skin Food Coral I Believe
Myrsol Lemon

I used a Polsilver SI Blade in my New but Vintage Red Tip Superspeed courtesy of Martin aka Dodgy.

I was a little hesitant at first as only used a Muhle R89 so far for proper shaving. Very pleased with the results, nice and close no cuts, no weepers.

I think this may be the first of many vintage razors but will continue to hone my technique and enjoy my shaving.

Thanks again to the creators and contributors of this forum, superb!

Regards

Ben
