The soap's lather moved around my face. It was OK but could have been better. Razor and blade very good.

What did you feel about the soap, apart from it moving about your face? Can't say I had any problem in that regard. For me it could be a little more slippery but not too bad. How does it compare to the Bay Citrus and what did you think of the scent?

It was OK. Smell was nice but didn't really stand out (very subjective of course). I prefer the Bay Citrus smell and it seems stronger, too. It seemed to offer good protection, it just didn't look like it with lumps of lather slathering around my face. Could just have been me getting wrong; it's easier to lather off a big puck after all.
Thanks for letting me try it.

What did you think of bay citrus?

I'm a huge SSA fan. Love the hard steel and the super thin grind. Sings out loud while stropped :)

Another fine shave from the Sputnik. I think for me the Sputnik's a little smoother than the Voskhod after comparing the two but they are both good blades ! I have a different razor and blade set up for tomorrows shave.

Razor: EJ DE89 with iKon Bulldog handle

Brush: Omega 48
Shave soap: Scent from Heaven Blue Strattos

Bulldog original facewash for men.
Parker 90R razor with Personna red #1.
Kent BK2 badger brush.
Scent from Heaven Tsar type shaving soap.
Myrsol Agua Balsamica ASL.
Monotheme Vetiver bourbon EDT.

Tried the Parker razor again ! Bit me badly twice, needed Alum & styptic to stop the bleeding ! Back to the Muhle R89 tomorrow, the Parker has had it's last chance, uneven blade exposure on the razor, one side shaves and bites, the other side does not seem to shave at all !!
