Prep: Shower
Razor: Joseph Elliot 6/8th
Brush: Semogue 1800 Boar
Soap: Speick Stick Grated
Aftershave: Astral Cream (light)
EDP: Tom Ford Black Orchid

Half a step backwards this morning, I thought I had mastered shaving over my prominent mole.....it would appear not, still only a tiny nick on it, many years ago I shaved it off flush with the skin using a Merkur Futur!

This mornings shave was rather tuggy and I do not know why, perhaps the lather?

I did manage to use both hands again and I am convinced this helps quite a lot, I shall continue with the two handed approach.

Regards
Dick.

Brush: TSN 2013 LE
Razor: Ikon DLC slant
Blade: Polsilver

Have had family down for the past few days and have had to have rushed shaves just using Village Barber oil. Have to say they have been surprisingly good (as well as very quick) but it's nice to be able to return to a nice relaxed shave before I return to work later this week.
Sound like a very nice combo with the Simpson's cream, which to my eyes is a top of the line cream. How do you get along with the Noxzema?

I like it very much indeed. Don't mind the scent too much (though others do).

It doesn't cost a lot and works very well.

Wednesday xiii August, 2014

Prep: Hot shower, Zirh Alpha Hydroxy Face Wash
Pre: Cold water splash
Brush: Invisible Edge Horn Handle
Soap: Fitjar Slåtterøy Shave Stick
Razor: Punktal
Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux #1
Post: Muehlens 4711 Eau de Cologne, Bulldog ASB
Fragrance: Guerlain Mouchoir de Monsieur

Result: Nice. The Mouchoir de Monsieur has really grown on me. I still find it a little off putting when first applied but it dries down to a very nice, long lasting fragrance.

All the best!
