Kropp 5/8 - WTG/XTG/ATG

Floid Vigoroso

Came home today to find a kropp sitting in the hallway thanks to Braveblades, have had the passround straight for a week or so and managed maybe 4 shaves with it. The kropp I found far smoother, the WTG passes and XTG passes were lovely (apart from chin area where my beard is actually barbed wire) and after getting sufficient stretch and correct angle the ATG was grand too. Overall very nice shave with just a bit of irritation on the neck. Vastly better than I remember my first DE shave almost a year ago!

Like these straight things - bye bye bank balance :(

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Proraso pre-shave - sensitive
Soap: Stirling Bay Rum
Bowl: Woodhead Pedestal
Brush: MÜHLE Kosmo silvertip synthetic
Razor: ATT R2 Kronos
Blade: Rapira Plat Lux (1)
After: Barbershop Bay Rum, Bluebeards Revenge ASB

Bloody Nora that was good shave this morning! I've been trying out some of my vintage razors this week but today returned to the ATT and what a difference! I was forgetting how good this razor is.
Stirling made a magical lather today (maybe even better than Nanny's Signature; blasphemy!). When I opened the Stirling tin at first I thought I was running out of this precious commodity but then realised I'd cut the soap in two when I first got it so there'd be room to lather in the tin. So only half-way through really.
Every piece of hardware and software performed magnificently. I like it when that happens. The best shave in a long while.

Have a great weekend folks.

Friday

Evening, gents.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: Lidl's Cien Men Cartridge system
Blade: Cartridge (15)
Brush: Ecotools Kabuki
Shave soap: Arko stick
Aftershave: Eau de Brut

The end of a series of decent cartridge shaves. The cartridge has shown no sign of flagging over the fifteen times it's been used. Still, I'll enjoy the DE shave tomorrow.

This mornings shave:
Profs coconut soap
Semogue 1520 brush
DE89 + Templ8 custom handle
Polsilver SI
Alum
Profs Lemon & Orange after shave splash
Nivea cool kick ASB
