I picked up a Vulfix super badger 2235 for a very good deal I must say. I dont know much about these brushes, being new to DE shaving, but I know it's a good quality brush, and most of all I really liked the look of the brush.

Well, that small grey box on the left arrived y'day as well from the Isle of Man.
Quite a bit of stuff coming in lately but as there's always the possibility of moving back to Asia or M. East, I'm now well set for quite some time.
This is a hobby that needs to be enjoyed, assuming we have the luck and privilege of enjoying good health.

A Simpsons Chubby 2 in two band Super and a Duke 3 in Best, both with 50mm loft, all the way directly from Progress Vulfix.
The brushes were test lathered last night and along with the Shavemac and the NF have now taken a permanent place in my rotation.

In addition, a Acca Kappa 1869 shave cream tub (almond, the one containing lanolin) and a Pashana hair tonic lotion arrived y'day from Robert's TGS.

What a gear !!! I like the design of SWK scuttle, is simple an for sure funcional as well. Hatts off, regarding brushes.

2 La Toja shaving soap bowls, bought in Spain with the help of a Spanish friend. Thank you, jdiaz!
One for me, one for the fellow member Islander!
Also a couple of La Toja shaving sticks, and a couple of Trumpers samples, as a personal gift from him to us two!

And 100g of Cella, from a friend that went to Italy, also a fellow member here (rntdcarvalho). THANK YOU!

All from the usual suspect in the U.K.

I have to say the gift wrap was a pleasant surprise, thick gift wrap paper that adds a very nice touch to the whole presentation and also protects the items to a certain extent. Very nice indeed. I will be using all these products and reviewing them accordingly.

Those pictures of the brushes slowly being unboxed and unwraped is like a strip tease to a keen wet shaver, PC will be wanting a video and a roll of toilet paper

Looks like you still have snow where you are. It even looks like it is colder than here. That would be a first, (The west coast of Scotland being warmer and sunnier than somewhere else apart from the Antarctic)

I took the pics the day before, when the brushes arrived, but did not post immediately.
I knew it was going to be shave porn ('xcuse the phrase) especially after the Shavemac, so I said to myself "don't do this to them".

However this morning I changed my mind...

A bigger house would be very welcome, especially if it would be to due to work relocation and/or because of the 'other half' I may soon meet...

But then I would have to explain to her why we would need two bathrooms, and that won't be easy I suppose. :lol:

On the contrary Konstantinos, it would be very easy to sell a female of the species on 2 bathrooms - as long as you didn't imply she would have to clean both!
