Worst injury in my DE life (all of 2-3 weeks!)

Eek! Are you sure you're not accidentally drawing the head at an oblique angle?

Probably. I was a bit tired at the time. I also need to work on the lathering. It's nowhere near as thick as it the Soap tutorials

Only three rules to building a good lather:

  1. Use more soap
  2. Use more soap
  3. Use more soap

Honed this razor up on sunday, and what a fantastic shave it delivered, somehow I knew even though as with all my razors they all pass the HHT off the last hone and strop, something told me this would be a fine shaver, and she did not disapoint.

Day 2 of DE shaving

Pre: Shower
Soap: TOBS Sandalwood
Brush: New Forest Super Badger
Razor: Merkur Futur
Blade: Gillette 7o'clock (2)
Post: Shaving Shop After Shave Gel

A more relaxed shave then yesterday, it felt easier, need to focus on the blade angle, too many years of using carts.

Feels slightly closer than yesterday, especially under the chin :)
