Not long ago, in a bathroom not very far from here:

Shower
Kappus shaving cream
NF2207
EJ de89 barley
Gillette Nacet
Proraso pre-post and ASL

three passes swiftly dispatched a week's growth. Leaving behind a super smooth face and one wee nick in a spot where I've never had one before: lack of concentration. Lovely shave from the Nacet, must have a hunt for these to add to the collection.

Pre- Hot shower

Soap- Tabac soap, with edwin jagger pure badger brush= good thick lather

Razor- Merkur 42 with tesco's personna(3).

WTG and XTG smooth but not quite as smooth as yesterday, didn't want go atg with a 3 day old blade so went xtg in opposite direction to before. No real improvement in smoothness from before the pass but now feel a tad sore!

Post- Cold water splas, nivea sensitive as balm, aquatonic as.

Gillette Flair Tip Super Speed (1955)
Wilkinson Sword modern German blade
Erasmic tube cream (old formula)
St. James Founders Reserve Mandarin & Patchouli aftershave gel

Not a very sharp blade but wasn't as tuggy as the last one I used. Maybe that was because I shaved late yesterday (about 8pm) and midday today.
Erasmic cream from tube really good (performance, not so much the smell)

Aristo #15
Gillette Super Stainless (2)
Neep Soapstone Badger
Dutch Moss shave cream (scuttle lathered)
Witch hazel
Castle Forbes AS balm

Almost ruined Henk's lovely cream by adding a touch too much water which meant it went a little bit foamy. Still delivered a great shave but I was a bit peeved at myself.

1 small nick, but apart from that another great shave from the bling razor.

Preparation - Rock Face face wash
Cream - mixed together the last of the St James of London Cedarwood and Clarysage with Erasmic chamomile 'new improved'
Brush - EJ synthetic
Razor - EJ Chatsworth barley chrome
Blade - Wilkinson Sword Classic
Post shave balm - Real Shaving Co. - bottomless tube version - it's lasted for around 5 months now.

I mixed together what I had left of two shaving creams and have created something okay with it. It's a tiny bit runny but lathers and holds together okay.

2 passes and I get a smooth shave.

Pre-bed shave tonight:

Prep: Hot shower
Razor: Feather Artist Club RG (wood), Pro blade (2)
Cream: Taylor's Violets
Brush: Neep #947 yew silvertip badger
Result: quick, clean, satisfying

Now contemplating pancakes. Am I hungry? No. Do I want some? Naturally.

Wed. 22nd, West Shanghai, P.R.C.

Feather SS with Pro
Frank Shaving Fine 26mm
Palmolive stick
Bleu de Chanel after shave, after shave balm and EdT
