SOTD w/c Sat 17Mar - Fri 23Mar

Wednesday
Kukri 4/8
NF2213
Derby Cream
Alum
Pashana original AS
oiuemt.jpg

By the look of it Rosie the Labrador could tell that the edge of Kukri was past its best on needed re-honing. That said the shave was very acceptable and I guess its the kind of edge past generations would have used much of the time as they eked the time between sending them out to be honed.

Randomly razor and blade chosen today:
Fatboy on 7, 4 with two Topaz Stainless blades
Almond Tobs cream

Topaz was fine. Not a particularly close shave but no drama. Did have to use two blades to get the job done as they go blunt so quickly!!

Thursday

Trumper Razor
Astra Super Platinum Blade
Semogue 2000 Brush
Cella/Arko Stick
Castle Forbes Limes ASB

Had issues with the Cella again, but have reached the conclusion that my Cella has "gone off". Suspended within it, there has appeared very small, hard blobs of something which were not there previously.

First pass was crap, so used the Arko stick for the second.

Off to Connaught now to order some Cella.

Ian

Dartboard Shave last:- random results were:-

1914 SE
La Toja shaving cream
Wilkingson sword brush
Professor Blighty's Hrlequin A/s

was fine, no nicks etc.
