Monday:

Fitjar cream
Omega silvertip
Aristocrat Junior
Wilkinson Sword (3)
Alum
Professor Blighty's Isen Vann AS
Real Shaving Co. ASB

Bit of irritation today, I could tell the blade was a little dull on the first pass. I should have done the sensible thing and changed blades but I foolishly pressed on.

Monday

Prep: Shower
Soap: Proraso Cream
Brush: Edwin Jagger Best Badger
Razor: Merkur Progress (set on 2)
Blade: Wilkinson Sword Saloon (3)
Post shave: Professor Blighty - Universal Balsam

Been using a sample of Proraso Cream for the last few days. Found this to be really nice so ordered a couple of tubes today :icon_razz:

Monday morning . Happy St Joseph's Day...

Paul smith story

Derby blades are much maligned.
No wonder.
I felt every whisker being cut.
An uncomfortable shave.
Finish strangely ok though.
No weepers or cuts or such.
This razor makes a supreme cutting noise!!
Yrs
Blake.

MONDAY EVENING

Aristocrat 58
Gillette Super Stainless (2)
Semogue LE Boar 2
Valobra stick (face lathered)
Witch hazel
Trumper lime skin food

Another corking shave courtesy of this razor. I can see why so many people love it, no nicks and an effortless shave.

Can't wait until the brush is broken in. I can sense it's potential, it's just a bit too new at the moment. Patience dear boy!

Merkur 38B
Polsilver (2)
Nanny's Ice and a Slice Soap
Unbranded Badger Brush
GFT Lime Skin Food
TOBS Jermyn Street Cologne

Again, a razor/blade combo that I have used and loved previously, a fairly disappointing outcome.

2 passes and touch ups, but still really patchy in places. Maybe I'll put it down to being first day back at work for 2 weeks and not having the sort of time I have enjoyed whilst off.

This morning:

Prep: Face wash, Imperial Leather bath soap
Razor: Feather Artist Club RG (wood), Pro blade (7)
Soap: L'Occitane Cade
Brush: Neep #955 soapstone silvertip badger
Balm: Trumper's Skin Food, Sandalwood
Scent: Trumper's Sandalwood
Result: lovely.

After a nerve-wracking few minutes updating, and then a good deal of worry mostly caused by Twitter being its usual flaky self, I have Ice Cream Sandwich on my tablet and am content.

Muehle R101 (2011) & Dorco (#2 and out, as usual)
Palmolive stick (getting near the bottom)
Frank Shaving Fine
Santa Maria Novella pre/dopo barba (had almost forgotten how good this cream is...)

One pass, acceptable (for a razor that is too capable to shave with every morning).
