Razor: Asylum RX V2
Blade: Feather Professional (3)

Well that was an interesting one, rough as a bears arse. Especially compared to yesterday, a couple of small nicks and a slight tender feeling afterwards. I was very rushed today so I'll put it down to user error with a mixture of inadequate prep and a false sense of security thinking I could throw it around after the first smooth effort.

An acceptable home working finish, at least it's almost the weekend.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Cheers

Marc

My Friday shave arrives here with the theme 'Cryptic currency (and other ways of making money by @Boycie83 )'

No photo as I couldn't be arsed, so this shave is in cryptic format

Soap Barrister & Mann Full Measure of Man
Brush SOC Cherry Wood Boar New 1st Use!
Razor Karve Brass OC-D
Blade Gillette London Bridge 1st
Aftershaves Stirling Witchhazel Orange Chill + B&M TFMOM Balm
Excellent soap! Good scent strength, rich creamy and slick lather...
New beautiful Brush...wow, scritchy for face lathering but yet soft for painting...
A very efficient shave with the razor paired with the blade. 3passes for a dolphin smooth finish with some micro red spots. The aftershaves were good too but my wife crinkle her nose...hahaha.

Friday
Decided against trying a 7th day with the Tech/Nacet.
Today I've used birth year slim with a 7 o clock super platinum installed.
The Latigo produced a super lather which made for a nice shave and despite my reluctance on using the 7 O clocks, it wasn't too bad.
I should have gone down from 6 to 4 for my ATG pass as I had a weeper just off to the side of my mouth. Cold water didn't really stop it and I needed a bit of a rub with alum. Gave it a rinse off with the left over soap and deployed additional splash and you wouldn't notice.

Have a good day all
Gary

Alpha G4 Syn 28mm
Arko stick grated
RR Hawk V3 A plate
Kai Captain Titan Mild Pink ( 8 )
Tuff Red A/S

After some great successive Shaves with The Claymore Evolution, I moved on to the Hawk. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Shave went as the blade was on its 8th outing, very smooth and comfortable with a nice excellent close all round finish. The battle between the Evo and Hawk for top spot amongst my AC/SE stable continues.

Bowl: Captains Choice Copper Lather Bowl Standard Bowl

Another great shave from the Masamune, and the Lothur Juice, It’s a massive shame this needs reformulation and as such has no matching splash.
Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all,

Prep, shower and some Magno soap to the face.
Razor, Gillette Aristocrat Jr
A/S, Proraso Green

The cream lathered up pretty well. Obviously not as mentholy as the other Proraso offering. Hard to describe the scent, sort of herby but not overpowering.

A 3 pass shave. No idea why I keep saying grain. Very comfortable. No cuts / weepers etc. Nice and smooth. Very happy with it. I’d suggest you could use this razor as daily shaver without issue and get good results.

Best,

Ben

Ps I prefer the Menthol version of Proraso!

Razor: Yaqi Adjustable "Final Cut"
Blade: Wizamet
Brush: Trotter "Scoville"
Soap: GD Coconut Rum
AS 1: Humphreys Maravilla 70
AS 2: Anthony's Bay Rum
Fragrance:
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1192

No reaction on 1st use of the soap was nice. I got more rum than coconut but it's a nice scent. Love the shave from the Yaqi Adjustable with it's new Brass handle from @Clouds Expecting a single spring day before some cooler weather comes back. Calling for 63 today so we are rolling logs off the hillside to put on a trailer and haul off...........It will take us many loads before we uncover more trunks and limbs underneath to cut next time but we're making progress. When I say we, us and we're, I mean ME, Myself and I. Off to some coffee and store bought mini powdered doughnuts. Man these are addictive which is why momma don't buy them often........... Have a great day Folks !!!
