Encouraged by my latest loan which was a brass Hone I decided that the next razor to try from the 'new' box to also be brass.
I bought a Karve brass months ago and now it is time to give it a go. It seems to be a consensus amongst users that C plate is the happy medium. And it is. Maybe a tad on the assertive side as far as I am concerned as I prefer mild razors but it carried out a very efficient shave. Love the small handle which makes rest nicely on the pinkey and giving it manoeuvrability.

Astra SP is a very good match with the Karve but I'll throw a few others at it until the end of month.

Isola will turn from sample into a soap/aftershave set in the future. Amazing scent and all the rest of tickboxes ticked in my book for what is a good shaving soap.

First time with this blade and having not read not any reviews I thought I’d dive straight in. No dramas, smooth enough for me.
After the 2nd pass my skin felt a little tingly so decided to apply a little splash and there was no feedback at all.
Twenty minutes after and I’m actually quite pleased with the result.

by the way i don’t really like rugby :ROFLMAO:
But i like Scotland winning
it’s not something we do to often lol

Anyway another brilliant shave and there was nothing not to like.
Wickhams are really a class soap & barts balms lotions & balms are top drawer also.
A first for me with the Med Preps,
after all the hype i read i expected miracles but the miracle didn’t happen
it were ok but nowt special.

What do you make of The Sticky Mike? Mild and efficient? I’m thinking of adding one to the collection.
