Prep: Warm shower and PAA Cube
Brush: PAA Phantom
Soap: B&M Terror
Razor: Blackland Sabre L2
Post: Cold Water and B&M Terror

I wasn't sure what to expect with this as I've no real prior use with menthol, but when using the soap it was a nice build up of tingle through the 3 passes rather than a straight hit. It sort of eases you in and continues to build. Followed by cold water then the splash which intensifies it briefly, then eases off and mellows to a constant background feel (curious as to how long it lasts). At no point does it make you want to cry or rip your skin off which is half of what I expected, certainly with a name like that. Overall, love it!

Hope everyone has a grand day and start to the weekend.

Cheers

Marc
Do you have the Balm for Terror ?
it’s wonderful stuff

Razor = Feather AS-D2
Blade = Gillette Super Thin Platinum ( 1 )
Brush = PAA Solar Flare 24mm Hybrid Synth
Soap = The Rambler By Zingari Man
with matching Splash & Balm

Absolute brilliant shave today,
Everything about it was class.
I love these blades
possibly my favourite but certainly up there in my top 3.
Paired with the feather it’s a dream combo for me.

Very nice shave this evening last one on the AOS TI before a change tomorrow.. the Wickhams I have the balm for too but find it pairs nicely with the zingari No1 also ! Weather has been a bit cooler today and after being stood out in the rain changing the coil pack and spark plugs on the car I decided to go with a nice warm water shave. Feeling nicely refreshed and super smooth !A47D3E93-FEE6-4B29-8F09-1AECA5E5946C.jpeg

A great new scent, reminded me of Italian cakes with dried fruit in it. It’s a scent of visiting my family in Italy and celebrating. I love it!

  • Prep: Hot Shower
  • Brush: Declaration Grooming B11 28mm in Wild West brushworks handle
  • Razor: Koraat basic II near wedge 6/8 wild olive scales
  • Lather: Tabac - Original - Soap
  • Post Shave: Tabac - Original Aftershave Lotion

3 passes for something inbetween DFS and BBS. Was playing around with angles a bit (since my hair is really coarse) and overdid it with shallowness on the neck - left me with quite a bit of redness and slight blood marks on razor, despite no weepers showing up. Think I went a bit too shallow there in trying to get the razor to cut the hair bit more easily. Lesson learnt.

Lancaster towels are amazing - definitely worth getting one or two. soft, absorbent and just overall they feel amazing - great to clean off the straight too ( or hands when they get wet and so water doesn't go in pivot pin).

Overall a good shave!
