I shall save you all the usual protracted rubbish this evening as just so much going on in life and hard to focus on triviality.

But I will say one fucking excellent shave and one bloody happy Satanfriendlymonkey on the shaving side of life's story.

No Giphy with some kind of witty remark to try and raise a little tittle or even a laugh through sympathy for my sad status. Instead you can have one very glum giphy of a lady driving a car back in the days when colour hadn't been invented.

I am continuing my run of longer Shaves with a Razor, by using another one from The Occams family. This time I am using The Oren, which despite its lightweight after using The Hiram, still delivers a trouble free quality Shave. As other forum members have recognised this soap produced by a UK Artisan is rather good.

Shaving Recipe For the day.

Prep: Warm shower:/ Original Source Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Lemon Flower Transparent Bar Soap + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.
Bowl Lather.
Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Uber/Superlather: Arko Sensitive Shaving Cream + Williams Mug Shaving Soap.
Blade: Parker ~ Premium Platinum. (2)
Razor: Parker 89r.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade (~Winter mix~) peppermint lavender eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./ Gummy ~ Traditional Turkish Lavender Cologne./ Aloe Vera Gel.

The efficiency of the parker 3 piece models is superb, matched together with parker PP blade made a wonderful smooth effective duo.

A relaxing 3 pass + pick ups Close comfortable Sunday morning shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Another splendid shave. I'll refrain from buying new but I'll snap up a Sabre L1 if one ever appears on the BST.

I have the TDS lather dialled in now and today's was exceptional. This menthol soap has a nice citrus type note to it that I can't explain with a nice (not face freezing) cooling effect. I was expecting to move some of these soaps on and bought them out of curiosity but I've liked each of them so far - with the exception of the Juniper that has a new home. The final one to try is Lavender and Musk* which is the best smelling from the tub.

* I think it was musk
