Greetings,

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

It's been a while since i last used The G F. Trumper Violet shaving cream and forgot how much i really like it's unique scent only a small amount is needed to create a excellent lather for the full shave leaving a superb post shave feel.

The Treet Black Carbon paired together well with my 1940's vintage tech making a smooth efficient duo.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups close shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel on it's maiden outing...An excellent post shave application.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine. ;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

Brush: Chubby 2 Manchurian
Soap: MdC Fougère
Razor: Rex Ambasador (2-1)
Blade: GSB (2)
Post: D.R. Harris Arlington

Only needed a brief touch up after yesterday's shave, really not that much to mow down, but I have my habits.

I may be flayed for uttering such sacrilege (and this isn't meant to offend the die hard fans) but I have to ask, do people really think the Chubby 2 Manchurian is worth the price tag? I've only used this perhaps half a dozen times so maybe it's too early to form a proper opinion, and don't get me wrong it is very good but I don't feel that it's better than a number of other artisan offerings or separate knots that I've purchased which cost a fraction of the price. It'll be staying in the collection because it is good, and I have to justify the price to myself.

Still a cracking shave and ready for a day out with the wife and the little one!

Hope everyone has a grand day!

Cheers

Marc

Sunday
Same as yesterday for the razor, using Stirling Ramblin' Man.
The thing that isn't the same, was time taken for a bit of a bowl lather and then no rushing.
Only needed 2 passes for a DFS.
Thought I'd stop there, as , knowing my luck I'd have 10 weepers on pass 3!
Enjoy the 'day of rest'
