I love this soap and scent, it’s going to be the first tub I likely have to replace. The scent is strong but not overpowering and is a unique barbershop so much so I’ve been unable to find another I like as much. Though I love my Hone 15, if I’m honest I know my Masamune is a better and easier razor. I need to try a Nodachi now to see if the more aggressive and efficient razor is as good.
The quality of this brush from handle to knot is outstanding and it’s regularly producing the best lathers with each soap it tackles.

Very much enjoying this Hive brush ... I mused yesterday that it had a sorta Muhle STF feel to it with grabby tips; today, I'm finding something a bit Kent Silvertex about it. Suits me well! Fun, too, to run a very plebian Vidyut Stainless through the Muhle ... like letting a street urchin play in the Daimler.

We’ll i went for a hi end shave today
i thought i would use my most expensive & trusted gear
A truly great shave for me
not bbs but not that far away.
i don’t actually like trying for a bbs when i’m shaving everyday although sometimes it just comes natural.
The Razor is 100% worth the money in my eyes & 5 blades coming free it’s a no brainer.
Iv just noticed the price of the soap has went up to eight quid which i doubt i would pay as there’s far better but i got it on offer.
I Genuinely can’t fault the aftershave & balm at £2.99 each it really is a bargain and the bonus for me is the wife likes it.
Iv never tried the Superdrug aftershave but i’m guessing that’s worth a go as well.
I know a lot of you guys won’t be able to afford all this high end gear but don’t be jealous,
i saved up £20 over a six month period .
