Bowl: My recycled T&H cream bowl
Razor: Mekur 39C
Blade Derby Extra (3)

Day three of the “Derby Challenge.” The blade felt a little bit rough, but I persevered. It was still a good shave, which left my face feeling smooth after three passes. Enjoy the remainder of the weekend

A very nice shave today with the Pass-around Carbon Shaving Co. CX-316.
The blade going off just as the shave ended with it losing its smoothness but still cutting, the blade has been banked.
The Lochranza soap still has a fresh, clean scent but a bit more spicy than the Machrie. Another face lather today producing plenty of very slick, thick lather for the job.
3 passes for an easy, comfortable BBS finish leaving me feeling and smelling good.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all.
I’ve said it before Tony, but I’ll say it again - that brush is gorgeous.

A super easy two pass shave this morning with a close comfortable result. The Game Changer works well with the Feather blade, and the Peregrino brush created mountains of lather with the St. James cream. Bart’s Ben Vorlich is the new name for the brilliantly scented Grapefruit and Pink Pepper balm, one of my favourites. A really pleasant shave.

Brush - ES Medium Jock
Razor - Yaqi Adjustable (2)
Blade - Tatra Platinum #4
Post - Barts Lavender ASL

Just a quick one before heading out for a hit of some golf balls.
The shoreside Bosun’ (SWMBO) has insisted that I have at least 2 days of stubble for the foreseeable future and for it to be “shaped well”.
This will, of course, have major implications on my shaving regime. I’ve told her that I’m the man of this house and what I say goes. Im going to have a 2 day stubble beard for the foreseeable future.

Wickhams English Rose sample was kindly supplied by Jay and it’s a really nice smelling and effective soap.
A little bit of Barts Lavender to finish and that’s about the end of this little marriage guidance seminar.

Stay Safe everyone.

After attacking the Ivy in my back garden with my Stihl Kombi (with the hedge cutting attachment) and getting covered in dust I made a tactical withdrawal for a bath and a shave.

Another nice and chilled shave to set the day going, terrible weather as usual for a Bank Holiday but spent it entertaining the little'un so a fun one regardless (luckily I have the attention span of a 2 year old anyway so makes it easier)!

Hope everyone has had a cracking day!

Cheers
