I really do enjoy using my birth year slim, a very close comfortable shave today from 3 passes.
Enjoy your day all.

I couldn't see a thread devoted to Fat February but I've just taken delivery of the new formula MWF in its ceramic bowl so couldn't wait to try it.
Happy to report it's a lovely shave, dense creamy consistency which is low volume on my Rubberset 400 boar but slick and gives excellent post shave feel from the lanolin. Not at all like the rapidly dispersing effort that many batches of MWF and Kent had previously. Pleased to finally become a Fat Fan (gneeeeaaahhh!)

Thought I’d try The Fat with a synth to see if it sped up the lathering process, as synthetics usually do.
The short answer is no, not noticeably.

The Fat is a great soap though, if you have a good one, despite it’s idiosyncrasies and particularness in lathering.

Enjoy yours gents.

IMG_20240222_105214~2.jpgI'm starting to like this Treet Silver carbon blade!
Another great shave with it in the Pearl Flexi. I've been careful to take the blade out of the razor and pat the blade dry with a towel. The performance is still good three shaves in and I can get quite close with it. It's certainly good for my face. No irritation.
I wonder if I should give it another go in the Popular, or try it in the trusty Fatboy? I'm curious but I'm on to a good thing in the Flexi.

22/2/24

Soap - HWF
Brush - Omega 10077
Razor - Fat Handle Tech
Blade - Treet 7 Days (3)
AS - Signature Soaps Danum

I picked up another triangle slot FHT and it is a touch milder than my other one, but gloriously smooth. The Treet 7 Days is a top quality blade. Maybe not the closest shave, but a very comfortable one nonetheless. I finished it off with a few splashes of Signature Soaps Danum. Today's a day to embrace the patchouli scent! :)

Have a good day gents.
