Shaving Recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Bulldog Vetiver & Black Pepper Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Anbbas boar.
Face & Head Lather.
Lather: HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.2) with Tea Tree & Lavender essential oils.
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp. (blue pack) (D1)
Razor: FaTip Grande.

Post:
Cold water Face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/ Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./ Alum Rub./Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel/ Brut ASL + Splash-On Lotion./ Nivea Men Gummy ~ Traditional Turkish Tobacco Cologne./ Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel. /Adidas Extreme Power EdT.

Early morning shave,

A wonderful lather from the HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.2) The Tea Tree & Lavender essential oils gives the soap a mild medicinal scent with a wonderful post shave feel from the lanolin making my mature rhino skin feel superb.

I count myself very fortunate that that my skin type doesn't have any adverse reaction from the lanolin & essential oils that are added to the HWF soaps.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.;)

I'm not very experienced with carbon steel blades.
This one produced a little heat on my face but did a decent job despite taking more passes than I was expecting.
I'll be giving it another go soon and see if I still get the heat.

As it turned out, this was a shave fit for the Gods. Although most appear to have a beard to me. Oh hum, they obviously haven't been here and learnt about the beneficial merits of shaving. And how to part with hard earned money.

Oh hum. Some Japanese ladies to end on? Unfortunately yes.....

After three days with the Rex Ambassador on 3 the swap to the AS-D1 was dramatic. The first two strokes and I was wondering if I had forgotten to put the blade in. Cliché, or what? But true. I actually had to check. Two passes later the result was impressively close. I might well stay with this setup for the next couple of days until I need to change the blade.
