Wednesday 8th August 2012
Prep: Shower
Razor: Ever Ready 1912
Blade: Modern GEM Coated
Brush: Vie Long 13061M Horse
Soap: Palmolive Milled into a container
Aftershave: Wilkinson Sword Sensitive Balm

A pleasant shave with my new 1912 that I collected from the Post Office this morning, this was the razor I paid 99pence for (plus postage) and it is as near to perfect as one could get. I scrubbed it up with Fairy Liquid and a wooden handled nail brush and it shone like new! The box is a bit knackered and the hinges rusty, but for 99p it would be churlish to moan!

Regards
Dick.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage unknown horn handle badger
'Webly'/Schick Plus Platinum (NOS)
C&S #88 SS
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic

Today, a full eucaliptus shave!

Pre Prep + Prep shaving cream + Simpson Duke3 Best + Weber ARC Bulldog with Permasharp #1 + Myrsol Fórmula K + Razorock Wax Eucaliptus

A superb shave gentlemen! Although this Prep crem has turned "liquid", it still does good foam. About the Weber, definitely it will be from now my favorite razor: it shaves really easy and makes a clean smooth-shaven without any problem it you uses a good blade.

Cheers!

Wednesday

Schick Type E Standard, amber handle
Personna Blade (several shaves in)
Omega Boar Brush
Erasmic Shaving Cream
E45
Speick

Great shave from the Schick; picked it up out of the cupboard after several months resting and blade was obviously in good nick. Will shave all week with this razor which delivers a perfect finish particularly with this shaving cream.

a good shave. quite pleased with the jock soap, it was an impulse buy and usually my impulse buys are pretty rubbish, but this soap is not too bad at all.
