Cheers mate! It did cost an arm and a leg, it's a great shaver though (and the smoothest kamisori I've got).

So today's whisker whacking was very nice. Only thing I changed from yesterday's crap shave was the razor. So, based on that, I can say that lousy experience was based on user error alone. Yeah, the blade is fine......sheeesh.

I decided to give the blade a little touchup. 20 laps on diamond felt, 30 on felt, 50 on Latigo and 40 on English Bridle.
A beautiful smooth and close shave.

Not rate Ingram's? It's me favourite, man! Fair do's though, there are a few foolish sceptics (septics :icon_razz:) out there. Maybe not as posh as Proraso but a heck of a lot cheaper and made in England too.

Glad I got you onto that stuff Graeme. You're a tremendous enthusiast for it. It's the only reason I haven't tried Proraso. I can pick up Ingram for a quid odd down the road and, since I'm perfectly happy with the shave I get with it, have always thought what's the point of bothering with the fancy pants Eyetalian smoothy when I have to order it online for 4 x the price!

Nice soap too, the NSS - not many know this but it was named after Nancy Silly Supreme Martin, apparently his artist name in the Soho district, around the century turn (and not the latest turn).
