Took the Slim out for a test drive this morning.
I'd been having cold-water shaves this week but for this test I used warm water. I was cautious of using a 7 o'clock Yellow on the test run as it's quite keen for me so filled up with an Astra blade as I know they are forgiving. Leisurely morning so broke out the Fat and cruised in 3rd gear on the slim for the first pass. Easy ride; so up-shifted into 5th for the final two circuits. Smooth ride all the way, no incidents or accidents. Final lap with alum block reported back no irritation or Sting; magic.
Result: Best BBS so far I think. This Slim design is a work of art and just does the job without effort. In fact, the engine noise was so quiet I was wondering if it was cutting the mustard at all; but it did, and very well.
Would recommend anyone to have a drive with a vintage Rolls-Royce of a razor.
